Blue Creek is located in the Orange Walk District of the northwest portion of Belize, Central America. The Rio Hondo is the river that runs beside Blue Creek and separates it from the small Mexican village of La Union. The nearest large town, Orange Walk Town, is one hour away and the capitol, Belmopan, is three hours away. Nearby are the ancient Mayan ruins of Lamanai.
